MEDIA LITERACY
Seeking Truth in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Mis/Disinformation
Over 50 community members attended our January presentation, “Seeking Truth in the Age of Artificial Intelligence & Mis/Disinformation” co-hosted with the Granville Public Library. Lori Robbins, Head of AI Strategy at Denison University, helped participants understand navigating the mix of truth and invention in the age of AI and to understand the technology’s limits. If you’re interested in mis/disinformation, please plan to attend our upcoming hands on workshop to learn how to spot misleading AI-generated content and how to respond to it.
CANDIDATE FORUM
Granville Township Trustees and Village Council
In preparation for the November election, over 600 voters watched the livestream/recording of our October Granville Township Trustee and Village Council Candidate Forum. LWV of Licking County, the Granville Chamber Alliance, and Denison’s Community Leadership and Involvement Center co-hosted this non-partisan event providing voters with information to aid in their decisions regarding the November election. (Note: The three candidates pictured are those elected by Granville voters)
VOTER EDUCATION
